Ainu Folk Museum
The seven pillars by the entrance to the Ainu Folk Museum represent the sacred number 7 which symbolises the universe’s time. The round dome shape of the main building represents the belief that the heavens are round. The exhibitions are divided into 5 themes including Yukara Forest and the people who keep the kotan running, and you can even see 3D slides and films.
