Syumarinai Prefectural Nature Park(Shumarinai Lake)
Designated as a Prefectural Natural Park in 1974, Lake Shumarinai is Japan’s largest man-made lake, with a surface area of 23.73 square metres. There is a camping ground by the lake, and Japanese smelt fishing is very popular in the winter. There is even an observation platform from which you can see the whole of the lake.
