It is said that long ago, the chief of the Iwauchi tribe hid a gold kabuto helmet, said to have once belonged to the great general Minamoto no Yoshitsune, in a cave, but he died before he could tell anyone where it was. The chief’s fierce face appears on this rock on the cape, so that he does not forget where it is, and to tell people where it is. Because of this, this rock is called Kabuto Rock.
